How to get free money for housing
Many people with moderate incomes find home prices in their neighborhood have passed them by. Community land trusts offer assistance to such buyers, encouraging homeownership and helping to maintain stable communities.

Oh, how I wish I qualified for this, but it says for first time buyers. That definitely leaves me out.

Well that sounds wonderful and it means you could be a step nearer to your dreams, having your own home and not a trailer. I really hope this works out for you.
In the UK if you have been living in an area for 'x' amount of time and you can't afford housing then you can get into council houses (state run) and after a while you are eligible to buy it. This used to be a great option but now too many people are actually buying this form of cheap housing and I don't think there are that many council houses left!
I really hope this work out for you Icy. Good luck!
