Wow, that's more than RM1100 per month. I didn't have that much when I got my scholarship from Intel last time. Envy LoL. I am currently working as an engineer, and having working experience of 8 years. But my salary is about $1600 only. Poor me, now, you know you are richer than me right?

Ya, I forgot to you that the scholarship that I got is 5k RM per year, and that's only about RM400 per month. After deducting the school fee, the amount that I could spend is even less. Assuming we are having 8 months out of 12 months where we have to attend lecture and my course fee is RM1100 per semester. So the balance I could spend is RM5000 - RM2200 = RM2800. Average money in the 8 months are RM2800/8 = RM350. But luckily, our currency at that time is still very strong and worth much more compared to today because of the inflation effect.
