why was facebook better than myspace??

Well, I didn't have anytime used any facebook or any myspace. Whats actually they are I don't know, I heard a lot here at mylot but no one really interested to let me know whats exactly it is. I saw a pretty much mylot comments which are generally comes from myspace so maybe its just a community which gives us comments like graphics or flash one...isn't it.. Keep posting!!!

is it better? i think it has too many stuffs in it and i cannot get hold of everything and it is annoying at times at the number of invites and quizzes! hehe though it was fun at first, i just lost interest in them

I don't think any one of those social networking sites is any better than the other. for now I am not active on either one of them, because I prefer sites that pay, like MyLot, or that give points like Gather or boomertowne. On Boomertowne, I'm able to get pre-paid Visa cards, for my work, and that's really great.

I have them both. I had Facebook way before Myspace only due to Myspace not being popular at the time. Facebook has a ton of options that I like, but Myspace does also....alsmost the same thing, just two different applications.

At facebook it is easy to keep up with what your real friends are doing. Facebook pictures album are unlimited and you can tag people/things, the people divided in networks (college, work, region, etc) is really nice and helpful. Design is nice and simple I think. I really don't like myspace design.. About the applications, I only use a few that I like and my profile is still simple and short. Many of my friends add like all apps including the useless ones and it makes their profiles look soo long and ugly. But, I still think the long myspace profiles look uglier that the long facebook profiles! They say myspace is for the new musicians to promote their own music?? Well I'm not one of them..
