How have the glitches and "trolls" in myLot affected you the past days/weeks?

Since seeing the abnormal changes in myLot the past few days, I saw that a lot of members were venting out and questioning what has been happening.
I myself was affected because of my star rating. I had a consistent 100% before the glitches and was earnign quite consistent to my satisfaction. But it was the rating that really affected me. It was hard for me keep up and regain the losses as I am busy with other works pending at my table but still I could not keep away from myLot as it has become a part of my life with my friends here. Im still coping and hoping with the month's end, next month will be better and Im looking forward to that!

you are the 2nd. person on my friend's list to actually commented on the myLot's star rating, and other glitches...
to tell the truth.. i dont really understand what the ratings are all about...
i do notice the 'earning adjustments'... but since i am not really very, very active - i can only manage 3-10 responses a day.....
i dont really think any of this glitches, adjustments has affected me very much...
i hope whatever is happening.. myLot Admin will take care of it soonest possible.. hate to see people venting out..

Thanks 4mymak. Actually the star is for reputation ratings as according to myLot rules. And its good to know that you are affected by it. I also hate hearing people feeling terrible as I know the feeling. but still hoping that this will bring out the good of myLot.

Now everyone seems to mylot the new policy is dissatisfied with!
i have in four of the stars,why has not increased very much trouble.
I post messages every day and the number is more day by day ,but my money is less every day ,why?

I lost 70 post and that was very hard, and I didn't feel like mylotting for a few days because of it but then I bounced back and I am actually having the best month that I have ever had here on mylot.

That was awful to hear Winterose. But it was good for you to have that spirit to bounce back and brought positive in you. That's one positive thing I have ever heard here in myLot since the "events.

i think it has affected me more or less. now i do not find it so interesting to be at mylot as what happened to me.its really bad. i think i have reported this to admin, they sayu they are looking at it. but still we are losing points and all. i think they should take some action against them.

Thanks Subha. Having you in my friend's list, I know how have you been affected and what you have been going through and frankly, I can relate very well with you as I am going through the same. I am looking at it in a positive way that it would bring improvement to the site. Hoping it will be better next month.

There are a lot of topics about this, to be honest i don't take that much notice of the star ratings etc, i'm here to chat and meet new friends. If i can make some money all well and good but to me it's not really that important.
I think it's fun learning about other people in different countries and hearing their views on posts, each country sees things different. I think if more people accepted people for who they are and learn more about their cultures etc, there would be no need for wars or violence. Keep the good work up and you will soon restore your star ratings.

Hi lynn. I see your rating in a 9 but i don't know how much it dropped as you say. It really must have affected you so much. Well, don't be deterred by it and continue posting here and participate in discussion and just enjoy myLot as I'm doing. I'm just ignoring the ratings now.

I'm glad you mentioned the word "glitches" because it reminded me of something similar that happened a year or so ago. People's star ratings were going haywire. They were dropping from 10s to 5s in one day. That's really weird. So, perhaps there aren't trolls running around, but a glitch instead. Then again, why are some people affected and some aren't?

A good question there Darlene. Well first, I cant definitely conclude it was the "trolls" so I had to say also "glitches". But I'm not sure about your question on the affecting side. If its the feelings, then many are affected as I have seen from the posts but with the ratings, thats a good thing to ponder on as to why some suddenly dropped so fast and some where not affected. Hmmm.. makes me think as well if these are just glitches. But its informative to know that the decline in ratings have happened before. Thanks for the info.

With the ratings going up and down like a yoyo here, I have come to the conclusion that it just isn't worth the hassle anymore. I can only guess that something will have to happen to sort all this out soon, people are getting very upset about it all.

They haven't affected me at all. I have dropped to a 9 but I am not bothered by it. They won't chase me away that easily LOL

I know you work hard for it a I understand why you feed bad about it. As for me I'm not affected by now my rating are still the same, unchanged but I don't know in the next coming days. I hope that I will not be affected by this. And if this will going to happen to me well as I've said I will ignore it and continue making post. As long as your earning will not be affected by this if that will happen I will feel very very sad by it. Go on do the things that you know are right. This will be stop soon. If you know one of them then rate them also negatively so that they will know that what they did is not right and good.

I just feel strange towards the up and down of my earnings. I noticed that sometimes the earning suddenly dropped after few minutes I logged into myLot, but later it was up again, and down again, strange.
Sometimes the number also suddenly decreased (and when I read the number, I felt "Ouch!"), but then there were times when my earning decreased but my number was still the same.
what is happening here in myLot? I read Crash's explanation about earning adjustment but it seems like there are many things around here and my friends (including you) are talking about their star ratings suddenly dropped.

It hasnt really affected me. I noticed my star changed colour but It hasnt really bothered me. I also noticed that others are posting about their stars falling in points. Does it affect earnings at all? I never really know what it does other than seemingly annoy people.
