Day by day, the burden of books is getting bigger. Today, the syllabus of small children is much tougher - almost in comparision with the 10+ standards. And, with that, little children have to carry such heavy bags! A book left one day causes a child to remain standing for a whole day in school. What should we do? Please share in your responses.

Yes, I agree. School bags is not really necessary in school life. But, what to do...we are made to carry it no matter we like it or not. Even so, some of the books(Text books especially) are not used by the teachers. So, what for we bring? I suggest you ask the teachers what to bring and also ask them, whether he/she can break them into different days.

Hi aasani! I have noticed that too here in our place. Little girls and boys have big bags with wheels for their books and notebooks. However, the school where my nieces and nephews go to have provided them with lockers so they can leave their books in school. But here's the problem, they have homeworks and sometimes they need to review for a short quiz or exam the next day and they need their books, so, how can they leave their books when they needed it. Just my thoughts. Take care and have a nice day!

I think there will be a place in the school that the students must leave their books....... I was a elementary student and I got two bags for school... One is for my notebooks and other school supplies and the other for my books..

Yes you are right.When I was small, I carried 9 text books plus exercise books.The bags some time cause shoulder to ache.But the cruel teachers force us to bring all textbooks eventhough they rarely use it.Student who did not bring need to stand until the period for the subject finish that is one hour!!!So no one wants to take the risk.
What we should do is to ask the school to schedule maybe only one or two subjects per day.Teachers should say which day textbooks or reference book should be brought when only they are using it.Students should be allowed to share books.Nothing wrong with that right.
Now teachers are getting more cruel.My nephew said the teacher canes students who do not bring their book.If anyone does that to my son I will their arms off!

I think there should be somewhere for students to put their bags, books, folders ect. within the school. There are too many books for the average student and the lessons don't use them anyway.
I think that during lunch and breaks there should be a room where they can leave their bags but we all know that there are those with the light fingers who like the belongings of other people.
