i got my HAM radio license!

hey all~ so yea the headline says it all...i got my ham radio license, and i think it's pretty darn kewl :P i made my first 'offical' contact today using echolink (a computer program that allows me to talk on ham frequencies) and the guy i talked with was in japan...(and im in the usa) had i had just my mobile station setup the chances of me working (making contact with) japan on the frequncies i can use would be slim to none! yet i worked japan as a first contact! i just wanted to share....hope ur all well ~j
