How I Met Your Mother...the kiss

So, now that Bones has moved to Mondays I don't get to watch How I Met Your Mother anymore. Well we kind of switched to it during the commercials of Bones. We caught the end of the last episode and saw the kiss and I looked at my husband and said, "I think we missed something." I finally got to watch the last two episodes online and they were great. I'm glad to say we didn't actually miss anything in the last episode leading up to the kiss. The episode was hilarious. From Lily and her friend talking like they were 16 to Robin crushing over the horribly unattractive guy from her past to Barney actually trying to comfort Robin...all of it was great. My husband has been saying that Robin and Barney were going to hook up since the end of last season and they have kind of been leaving hints through out this season that something more was going to happen between the two. Too bad the season was cut short by the writers strike. I can't wait to see what happens next week. It should be interesting how Robin and Barney handle what happened. So, what did everyone else think of the episode? Were you shocked by the kiss or were you expecting it? I think I was more shocked by Barney trying to be a good friend and comfort Robin after she got "dumped" by Simon.
