To all the women out there: Why is it you wake up one morning and you feel skinny, but the very next day you look down and all of a sudden you look 3 to 4 months pregnant? This happened to me this morning. Literally yesterday I felt skinny, today, a mer 24 hours later, I looked down and it looked like a swallowed a bowling ball. Its really hard for me to stay motivated to lose weight if every other day I look fat! Ack! I mean what causes this? Do I stick with the thought that I'm fat and need to lose, or blame it on bloat and it'll go away on its own??

Did you know that that kind of bloat can be caused from not enough water in your colon? Women get more bloated than men because they have a harder time keeping things 'fluid' in that area. If you take a high dose of good quality calcium/magnesium at night it can really help. Keeps things moving so to speak. It is bloat - but it is also fixable! Besides, the cal/mag is good for a lot of other things too.

Dear jde, That will be due to the food you ate the previous night. Or you would have had bloating due to water retention. I have had it sometimes mostly before my periods are due. I have felt my weight increase and sometimes I used to feel breatless also. On those days I walk after food in the night for atleast half an hour. I had stopped feeling like that afterwards. You can also try that walking part of it. You can also try out this: warm a half a cup of water, add a tablespoonful honey and a table spoonful lime juice. Drink it early in the morning in empty stomach. After sometime you will see the difference. It will make it easier for you to lose weight also.

Do you suffer from IBS at all? Because I know that that can cause serious bloating. Perhaps you should speak to a doctor about it.

I think it sounds just like bloating. I personally hate my stomach. I had a baby seven months ago, and well I hate my stomach. I dont look pregnant but I sure do hate the stretch marks, You dont look like your fat dear.
