Is gmail down - I'm getting an error

When I try to login on gmail I get this weird error message Temporary Error (502) We’re sorry, but your Gmail account is currently experiencing errors. You won’t be able to use your account while these errors last, but don’t worry, your account data and messages are safe. Our engineers are working to resolve this issue. Please try accessing your account again in a few minutes. Try Again / Sign Out Any of you getting this weird error message on gmail right now?

I just checked my gmail and all is working fine for me. I would try again and see if you still get the message. If you do maybe you should contact them. Best of luck!

Its working OK now. 5 minutes after I posted I could log in but wasnt receiving any email Oops… the system encountered a problem (#793) - Retrying now… That was the error I got. Right now everything seems smooth. I was waiting for an activation email and when it didnt come I thought I'll check. Luckily no emails were lost.!

I can log into my gmail account. It does give me a message that it is taking longer than usual to log in and do I want to view my messages in HTML or wait. That is the only problem I am having with them though.

I use gmail as well, but I never log in to the account. I always use outlook with my gmail. I received an e-mail from them, but it was sent to me about two this morning. It still came in just fine though when I did a send and receive this morning.

I just checked my gmail account and all is good! No errors or anything showing up. Try sending an email and ask what is going on! Im sure nothing serious is wrong at the moment but I hope its fixed very soon! Jack
