My cat sneezes frequently, but otherwise seems to be healthy. Does anyone else have a cat that has this problem? Does anyone know what causes cats to sneeze? Llysine the herb seems to be beneficial for him.

I have one cat that sneezes all the time. And its not just one sneeze its like 10 in a row. Cats normally don't sneeze, and at first I was concerned. I had asked the vet and she said it seems he's got allergies. I noticed when he's behind the tv, a dustier area, he comes running out like a bolt of lightning sneezing away lol. I also started to notice he sneezes a lot while eatting, then noticed food on the wall. I think the pellets in the food were too big, and he eats so fast they get stuck. So he sneezes it all over the wall! After this food is gone I'm buying smaller food. He's always sneezed but I've noticed it happening more frequently while eatting.

Mine is just a regular black kitty. He's not sneezing today. I hope this continues.

The cat that we have right now doesn't have that problem, but one of our old cats used to sneeze quite a bit. I'm not really sure what the reason for it was sometimes, but a couple of times, I think it was because she was sick. We felt so bad for her because she would sneeze and she would even sniffle like her nose was stuffy. It sounded like she had a cold, so we had to talk to the vet about it and get some special medicine for her. It was some kind of powder medication that we had to mix up with a saucer of milk and feed it to the cat. It did seem to get rid of her problem at least!
