I love Densel Washington and realy liked this movie, but I wonder sometimes about movies based on real life. This movie time compressed so pretty big things, like when Richie went from cop to prosecutor that made it seem a little too fake.
Turns out, IRL he was a prosecutor and then a defense attorney, but the movie made it seem like the trial was the first time he stepped foot in a courtroom as an attorney.
I really did like the movie though. Is it wrong to root for the drug dealer?

It's Denzel and Russell Crowe and Cuba Gooding Jr and a bunch of other people.
I really liked it, but I thought the screenplay could have been just a little bit tighter (written better).

I haven't seen this one yet, as it really didn't seem like it would appeal to me. Most movies based on real life seem to time compress things or otherwise alter the story, though I suspect that this is partly to make things fit neatly into 2 hours, and also because even people with interesting lives have dull moments. :)

He did end up taking down like three-quarters of the New York City Narcotics Department and it is directed by Ridley Scott. All in all, good movie, but I kind of doubt you'd like it much.
