Have you ever lost some money?

i have lost some money but i was not lucky in finding it. i had $200 that i lost and i think that my best friend took it but i have no proof. it was in my wallet right before she came to my house and then when she left, i had to go to the store so i went to take some money out of my wallet and there was nothing. needless to say, she is not my friend anymore and now i am careful at who is my house

i think we all have lost some money before. i more then once. i have left money in my pocket and washed it. i went out to lunch a couple of weeks ago and dropped $20, i have lost money more times then i can remember. the wonderful thing is, it always comes back

Hahaha, that's happened to me too forgetting money in my pocket like that and then washing it. I've misplaced money in other places here and there too. I've learned to never let a loose bill (or change) on my dresser or the cat will bat it away thinkin' it's a toy left just for him lol. In the summer, or when I'm repairing things around the house, often I'll put screws or nails in my pocket and then forget they're there and send it through the wash (I often hear: Mom, see, you DO have a screw loose! Hehehe) Glad you found it and it was still usable.

That is funny, I always say if there is money in the laundry it is mine and sure enough every time I do laundry I find some kind of money in there, along with other items, simply because my stepson and his girl and my man if they don't clean there pockets then what goes in the washer becomes my property...I actually had to return my man's money one time for he just got paid from a side job and had like 300 dollars in there, believe you me he didn't get it back easily. But yes I have done that several times myself,leaving money in my pocket for I always carry it there whether I carry a purse or not.

I have lost money before also. It dropped out of my checkbook. I lost it in the grocery store and when I walked around the sotre, there it lay on the floor. I was so happy. that was a very lucky day for me because I found it before someone else did.

I don't always lose money, but I'm one of those unfortunate ones who just happen to lose random stuff all the time. Anyways, there was this one time when I was cleaning my room and I thought I lost 500Php (around $50, if I'm not mistaken). It started when I just got the urge to clean around. I grabbed my little trash bin and just started stuffing all kinds of 'trash' material I could get my hands on. What I forgot was that the day before a friend paid me his debt of $10 wrapped in this used wrinkly sheet of paper. I guess you could now tell what happened, and when I realized what JUST HAPPENED, I immediately rushed back to our garbage bin and dug my way to find my $10 back! Some might say it's not much, but it was for me. Haha. Thank goodness I found it.

I have lost money several times in my life, I lost it mostly at the university where people have robbed me. Once I was on the phone and my wallet was just beside, me. I guess I wasn't paying attention because somebody took my wallet and all my money. I never got it back.

Hi marciascott, I did have such fantastic experience several times before. I had even never realized that I had lost my money as it was not quite a big amount of it. Luckily that the washing machine didn’t spoil the notes. The bigger sum I found was RM200, approximately to $70usd. Yeah, just same as you, I was so happy when I found the money in my jeans pocket the time when I’m putting on them. It was just like I had got some extra money then. I felt grateful to get the money back unspoiled, so usually would share the happiness with my partner by giving him a treat and having our favorite coffee and desserts in the nearby coffee beans.

Yes, I have lost so much more than I have found. One time I was in a mall and I wanted to buy a printer but decided I better keep the money. The following day, I took a taxi home and mistakenly slid the wallet off to the floor. When I got to my apartment room I was shocked my wallet was not in my bag. Too late the taxi has left. "I should have just bought the printer!" Well, there were also cases when I find some bills in my back pockets and it feels good.

I do not lose money very often. The last time I lost some money was about two years ago. I was in my pajamas and they had holes in the pockets. They were actually sweats, but looked too bad to wear out, so I slept in them. Anyway, my boyfriend, at that time, gave me ten dollars to run to the store and pick up at few snacks for us. I put the money in my pocket, because there was no where else to put it. I was on my way to my room to get my wallet, when I heard someone crying. Instead of going straight to my room, I went to see why this lady was crying. I forgot all about the money in my pocket. Come to find out, she had lost a quarter in the vending machine. I went all the way to my room, got a quarter and took it back to her. By the time I remembered the money and checked for it, it was gone. I retraced my steps over and over, but it was nighttime and I could not see that well. I was so upset with myself, even though I was trying to help. That same lady still lives here and cries about every little thing. Everytime I hear her crying, I think about the ten dollars and clinch my teeth together. Cry babies really annoy me now.

Well Sweet I'd be happy to find some money while washing the clothes too...I mean we should get something for our troubles,no? xoxoxoxoxoxox

i lost nearly one month ago around 500 INR because the funny thing is forgot in the same way but my money was wasted because when i wash my mother didn't see that one and after that she had seen but it was not useful to use in the outside so your so lucky you have found your self around 50$ so when did you get back that money?

oh $50 is a large amount.I do lost monry frequently,coz i'm such careless person put everything here and there including cash.the most safe way for me to keep money may put them in bank.in fact,i never bring much cash along with me everywhere.what i take with is a bank card.

It seems my washing machine makes money, because I wash money all the time,I actually feel rich when I take my clothes out of the washer.

Hi There! Losing money is something I do very regularly (although I cannot afford to do it). I lose it by simply being careless. I will leave it in pockets, in the car, cushion seats etc... My daughters know I do this and always seem to know right where to go to find it! :) cheers,

I usually don't lose money, that is my hubbys job, LOL. He keeps his money in his pocket instead of his wallet, he had gotten to the point where everytime he went out the door he would lose money, reaching into his pocket to pull it out to pay for things, he would drop it and never notice. I finally got him a money clip, no more lost money.

Well, I used to put some money aside in my wallet each week, still do. I then got a new wallet and transfered everything over, except for the tucked away money! Gave my girls my old wallet (nothing beats mums old stuff! lol) and they found it! I'm talking 6 months on! Woohoo! Found close to $200!
