Who is the whackiest character in Arrested Development?

One of the most dysfunctional sitcom comedy I ever watched. Very hilarious comedy. I wonder why they canceled it in their third season.
The only normal ones in that family probably only Michael and his son George Michael.
So, who is the whackiest one?
Tobias, lindsey husband. He never had a permanent job. His longest job probably as the Bluth housekeeper, Mrs Long Feather. :D
He always mistakenly heard what people say and very clueless about something.
What about your fav whackiest character?

definitely the best/weirdest character in the show that isn't one of the main characters would have to be Gene Parmeson. Always in his crazy outfits and the worlds greatest private eye. and just the way Lucille always reacts to him "AHHHH GENEEE!" I just love it.
But Tobias with his quotes that really should never be said in any civilized conversation are always hilariuos

Me and my husband really love watching Arrested Development and it's sad that it did not last long. I love Lindsey and her shopping spree but for me, I also find Tobias as the wackiest! The fact that he does not remove his blue short pants is hilarious! No wonder Tobias and Lindsey did not have their own child. Gob is also an interesting character and his cute evil ways.

Tobias was really funny. but i think gob was my favorite. his puppet franklin was the best. i loved his shirt. george bush doesnt care about black puppets. lolol
or the cd they made. and how they payed that song when they got called up to the witness stand that was classic

I have never really heard of the show Arrested Development but it does sound like it would have been a very interesting hilarious comedy my friend,I wonder why they canceled it,and can you tell me what channel it was on,and if they have it in a DVD boxset?It sounds like a show that I would be interested in checking out to see if it is really good,because dysfunctional sitcoms are always awesome.

Tobias was by far the strangest character on Arrested Development.
He decided to give up his career as a psychologist to become an actor, "blue himself" on countless occasions, became Mrs. Featherbottom, and got those hair extensions that started to suck the life out of him. (Oh God this makes me lawl.)
Gob is amazing too though. Especially with Frank the puppet.
