Applications?

So, what are your thoughts on Myspace's new application abilities? I haven't added any yet myself, and I don't believe that I will be in the future. I tend to shy away from adding apps on Facebook, because I know [from bad experiences I've heard about from friends] that they sometimes contain viruses.
What do you think about the new apps? Are there any that are fun and exciting yet, or is it just another attempt of Myspace to be better than facebook?

I haven't tried out any of the MySpace applications yet either. I use some on Facebook, but I feel like there are too many and while some make the site more fun, most make it more annoying. I really am not a fan of how much alike Facebook and MySpace are becoming. It doesn't have to be one or the other, for most people it is both so they don't need to imitate each other so much.

Yeah, they aren't really competing 100%, because you're right, lots of people have both of them. What really annoys me in terms of the applications on facebook seems to be the ones that require you to send invitations to x number of friends before you can use it/see your result.
I hate to think that Myspace applications will get to be that way. I don't want my inbox to be flooded with useless invites to applications there, too. D

It's been a really long time since I hae been to MySpace, but if there are new applications for me to check out, then I will go there ASAP to check it out. The reason why I have not been to MySpace in a ling time is because I've been busy on paying sites, making enough money to continue flying back and forth between Canada and the USA.

I'm glad that you're doing well on the payout sites, then. (You must be doing well if it's supporting your ability to travel!) If you find out that you like/dislike the applications, I'd love to hear about it. :D
