I have had this problem for a long time now and i did use many medicines to get it cured. Every time i use some medicines they disappear and again they come back as soon as i stop using the medicine. Some times these cracks open up a lot and hurt me while i am walking. Even though i wear shoes and keep away from the dust and stuff i am still getting these cracks. Can any one of you suggest a natural way to heal these cracks instead of medication.

I heard that racked heels may be caused by a deficiency of vitamins, minerals, zinc (red meat and poultry, and also in legumes, whole-grain cereals, wheat germ and nuts) and omega 3 fatty acids (nuts, salmon, flax meal). Omega-3 fatty acids aren't produced by our body, so it has to be gotten from food or supplements.
- I also heard at the end of each day soak the feet in warm soapy water for about 15 minutes. Rinse and pat dry. Make a mixture of one teaspoon vaseline and the juice of one lemon. Rub this mixture onto the area til it's absorbed.. every day til better..
Hope you get lots of tips, and hope they work! Good luck!
