what does video game do to children

My son used to play a wrestling game but I stopped him from playing it because he started to wrestle with his sister, leading to a big fight. He now knows that if he acts out what he has played he will not play it again! I also limit the time my kids spend on the games. I think too many kids do nothing but play games, getting no exercise and no stimulation from other things (such as reading, drawing, lego, or whatever other games they might play). I will have days where the game consol does not get turned on at all. When they do play, they can have a couple of hours and then I tell them to find something else to do.
