I make a really good garlic porkchop dish served
over rice. It's very tasty and my hubby loves it
with a baked potato and homemade corn bread.
No complaints from him!

I'm a cheesecake lover. I like cheesecake any way you can make them...I thought I had found the best when I ate a Key-lime cheesecake. Then I got a taste of one made with orange and lemon. It was the best piece of cheesecake I have ever tasted. Not really sweet and had a tart taste along with the rich taste and flavor of oranges. I have been searching for the recipe and all I can find is one made with oranges. I am trying to adapt the recipe and put some lemon in with the orange. I have ate a dozen different cheesecakes in the last few months. But none were as smooth and tasty as this one. I even put the Orange Cheesecake recipe on my diabetic blog. Yes, diabetics can eat cheesecake.

Hi claire03! I have this favorite recipe that was taught to me by my mother in law. I learned it from her since I got into healthy living.
It is called pickled vegetables. I half cooked different kinds of vegeatables such as okra, eggplant, bitter gourd and just blanched any leafy vegetables like for example spinach. Then I mixed it in vinegar, brown sugar, ground pepper and sometimes I put onion and chili pepper. This recipe can go with any grilled, fried or smoked dishes. Just my thoughts dear friend. Take care and have a nice day!
