A true friend is...

Thank you for your response. I know that this has long been a topic everywhere,and no one could own a copyright of this universal topic. I got interested in bringing up this topic again because I had a recent experience with some friends whom I thought are real ones. Few months ago,I had an accident that led me to partial disability.I was not able to work and do business for 3 months.I have used all my money for medication,while the business was left unproductive with no income at all. I was advised by my doctors to rest with no walking for 6 weeks. I felt low and I was broke..I prayed so much,and I thought maybe I could be true to my friends.So I wrote some of them whom I know are very stable and would help me because I have helped them also before. To my surprise,one responded to my letter. She asked me my mailing details and even told me that they will pray for me. I was so grateful and overwhelmed by one response but until now,that help seems so far away.This made me realized many things.One is to accept that maybe,the help they sent me is something I don't see. I stick my mind to positive reasons instead of resenting. But the question, "are they really friends?" stayed in my mind... the next question is...if a friend ask for your help whether financial,emotional or whatever good reason it may be,would you doubt to help?... I am just so glad I have Mylot,somehow I get responded by good freinds out there.
