Does this sound like a man of God to you?

Today on campus, a man that goes by the name of Brother Micah Armstrong came to the "free speech zone" to tell the student body that we're all going to hell. He had a four hour permit. We did some research on this man, and he goes from campus to campus and provokes students to hit him. When a student hits him, he then sues the university. I'm not a Christian, but I have great respect for many of my Christian friends. This man is just horrible. He man three students (at least) cry because of the comments he said to them.

I agree with aseretdd, this man isn't a man of any God. He is just a conman looking to score. He has found a way to do so and as long as colleges continue to allow him the permits he will continue to do so. This man would use anything in order to make money. Right now it's God and Christianity that he bends to his use but next week it could be something else. What gets me though is if you were able to find out this information why did the college allow him the permit? They should have blocked it if he is know for inciting students to violence.

Many colleges now have these "free speech zones," and I know that there are other colleges out there experiencing problems with Brother Micah and other extremists.

The colleges I went to didn't have any such areas like that. Not sure what can be done to stop him at this point.

If the college is classed as private property then he could be banned. Otherwise it is a rather grey matter.

He is not a man of God but a con artist using the name of God to extort money from young people... given his background... i don't think he should be allowed inside school premisses... school authorities should look our for him and not give him the permission to say something... even if it is in the "free speech zone"...

For one reason or another, the police cannot legally deny him the right to stand on a bench and preach his hatred. On the plus side, we eventually started singing to drown out his voice.

no it sure does not and to tell students that they are all going to hell what way is that to teach young people. And to deliberately provoke students into violence does not sound like any christian minister that I have ever been around andI have met a few in my life time .
