My boy is five years old now.I love him very much and he loves me very much too.All mothers have the same experience,I think. But I handn't known that before the baby was born.
When I got marriged,my husband and I felt obliged to have a baby, for we were over thirties and both parents were eager to have a grandchild.
We were both nervous when the baby was born.We have no experience to feed a baby, and my mother and mother-in-law were too old to help me. I couldn't sleep day and night, because the baby wanted to eat and urinated instantly.
I felt awful those days. But, however, I had a reward. The reward is the baby's smile. It's so sincere and pure.He looked straight at me and trust me so much and that made me feel the responsibility to protect him and love him. Now,he is the centre of my life.

May god bless your baby a wonderful smile and trouble free life. Only parents can understand the kind of feeling you have towards your boy. I also have a cute 3 months old son.

I know what you mean... i have a two year old baby and she means the world to me... i never know a love like this before... i am always happy when i am with her... and quite sad when i had to go to work...
I don't feel tired when i play with her all day... and i cry when she is in pain... i would love to have more children... because the love i get from my baby is so overwhelming...

Being the father of 5 kids, I know what you mean! The little things make it all worth it! My oldest daughter (5) just came up to me out of the blue today, and wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed my cheek. I asked her what that was for and she simply said "because your my favorite daddy"... I know that sounds kind of lame, but you can't believe the amount of pride I feel!

My boy is 8 months old. I also have a daughter who is 10. I don't know if this will sound horrible but when I was pregnant I was worried about the time the new baby would take away from the only child I had for 10 years. As soon as my son was born I realized that what an amazing thing motherhood is. How is it possible to love two people so much? I forgot how much joy and happiness a baby brings. Another fun part is that this is my husband's first baby and it's amazing to see how the simple things in life make him so happy now.
