My wife and I met in January, and got married in Feburary. We werent head over heels in love, though we did care for each other a lot. We hardly knew anything about each other and I was unemployed at the time. I know that it was crazy by anyones standards, and most gave us 6 months before we seperated. That was 14 years and two children ago and I can honestly say that our love has only grown stronger. This is my story....or at least a part of it, now how about you telling yours. Was it love at first site? How long after you met the very first time before you said I DO. And for those not married, how long have you been in your present relationship.

Thank you for sharing your story of inspiration.I am happy that you are happy.sounds like you have a very beautiful bond with your wife.I have been married for 6 years to my high school best friend.I knew my husband for 15 years before we got married. We was just always best friends then one day it turned to something more deep and sweet...We have had so many rough patches but to hear your story does give me hope and makes me believe in love all over again...

I try and not think of those as rough patches, but rather stepping stones. For to me, each one you pass strengthens your bond whereas rough patches slows you down.
