Do you ever check out someones discussion, just to find that it is really to long to sit and read, so you don't even bother?
Pick me, I'm quilty.......
Sorry, but sometimes I'm limited on my time, so I skip them if they are lengthy.
I also try to make mine fairly short, and to the point. :o)

yes i do notice that some discussions are really long. usually, if the topic doesn't seem like it interests me, i skip it but if it's something that i like but i'm running late, i try to get back to it which will be easy if it's in my mail. but if it's not in my mail, then i too tend to 'let go' of it. hehe

I do not have time to respond to memoirs or autobiographies or rants. I want to make money on myLot and I have to get back to everything else. Why I am trying to get $1.00 a day and that leaves time for little else, Why I have not started on my novel today, and I only did a little singing practice. I only make my discussions around ten lines at the most and I cannot go and hunt for the real question. The trouble is some of these long novel type discussions are on the myLot digest and I have to reply to them. There is one member in particular who goes on and on. And I get confused, because I want to know the question, not the history of a relative and why I should get out my handkerchief.

Yah, I know what you mean.
Course, I'm not really here for the $$$. I started out for the $$$, but not now, I'm here for the best people in the world.
I Love "Mylot", and I never expected it to be this great!
Take-care, go make some $$$, and enjoy your day today, See-ya-round.
Thanks! Marilyn

Actually Marilyn, I find sometimes the lengthy discussions are the most interesting and worth the read. I completely understand what you are saying and where you are coming from. It also depends on my mood, you might find that longer posts are of a more serious nature and I might not be in the mood to get into anything to heavy that makes me have to think. So I will find posts that I can just zip off a fast answer and let it go at that.
Now on the other hand I am loyal to friends and if that means I must read I must read and post something LMAO even if all I can say is I have no idea WTF you are talking about. LMAO They are appreciative.

Hiya Angel,
You know sumpin?, you are so right! You're right alot of the time anyway.
People round here are pretty darned good, so maybe I should take more time for them. But, I still have a fairly demanding life outside of "Mylot". (Don't tell anyone I said that). ;o)
Yah, I guess it depends on the mood, the right time, etc.....
Thanks You, for commenting, too cool! ;o)Mar

Yes. I will read some of those long discussions if they topic headline catches my eye and the content is full of good detail that interests me. I do delete alot of them though because they just do not interest me at all and they are a waste of my time to sit and read through the whole thing.

I too agree some are just really long. I will read longer post but some are just too long and I skip over them or just skim the. When I start a discussion I try to keep it short and to the point.
