My new friend

The snail - This is a vineyard snail.

As I said before I work outdoor and there are lot of animals in my surrounding area.Few days ago I shot this photo of my new shy friend,the snail.What do you think about it?Do you think it is cute or disgusting mucous animal or just potential gastronomic speciality of some French or Italian chef?
