well, which are you? a leader or follower? for me, i am quite a laidback person and tend not to stress out easily. i don't really like to think too much. hehe thus i prefer listening to others who give me instructions and i do as they say.
not really a good trait of course though it just depends on individuals. but necessary and useful too as not all can be headstrong. and in jobs, this can be a good quality at times.
thus, i would categorise myself as a follower.

I am both, one must be flexible. I have been told that I take direction well, however I also lead well. I usually keep a cool head and do my best with what ever situation I am in.

I have had the fortune of working in a kitchen since I was 9 years old, this brings humility of learning to submit but also learning to lead.
My son has severe epilepsy, so with the medical issues I have learned to keep calm during an emergency.
Thank you for your compliments. You are a leader in your own way, don't sell yourself short.

yes true, one must be flexible. you're really impressive. an admirable trait to have in oneself. i wish i was more like you. i can lead only if i feel that others are not trying or not doing though i'll be feeling awkward too at times. thanks so much for responding.

You probably do much better in the workplace than I do because I don't take orders or instructions easily. I prefer to do things my own way. I have been in a job where I had to give orders and instructions but I did not like doing that either.
I think I am very independent and like to be in control of my own life rather than follow other people. I like to make my own decisions and form my own opinions.

I'm really Corn-Fused!
I have my Moments when I could lead a whole army through the FIRE , and then I have my moments......when I follow.
I think it might be my shadow " Sam " She's a Leader , sometimes I just have to follow her , because she'll keep me safe!
She's a Warrior , I know She'll never fail Me.

i guess i will do much better in the workplace though i don't know since i have never worked you could say. immediately after school, i became a stay at home mum so i don't really know but looking at situations at home, i think i'll do well there.
it's good to be independent i feel, probably because i'm not. i really admire those who're able to speak out. thanks for responding.

for me a good leader is the one who knows how to follow too. if you are a good follower then you can be a good leader as well. i am a very patient follower so now that i am a mom i am also a good leader. and if you are a good follower you know the feeling of it and can be a good leader if you are insensitive to others feelings

wow, i never really thought of it in this way. thanks so much. now that i think of it, i somehow find it to be true. people appreciate rulers who know how to appreciate the common people as well. when i read your post, somehow an example of a king and his people came to my mind. it can be applicable in that case as well. thanks so much for responding.
