What makes us girls a good homemaker? Is it our cooking, our cleanig, or our looks? What do you think?

Most definitely a good homemaker. You would only need to take a look at my son and hubby and how happy they are (most of the time) to see what a good job I'm doing as a homemaker.

a good homemaker is all the things as well as making the home a place you want to come home too, comfortable, peaceful, a place to relax, and also a place to have fun and that is ambiance, how you decorate, what activities you do, if you are a fun person, or tranquil person, not arguing all the time, etc. I am a so so homemaker, I am terrible in the cleaning area, and more so since I have become disabled.

I think it is all of the above and then some. I think i am a pretty good homemaker. I try to keep everything done around the house that I possibly can so my husband doesn't have to do a whole lot of it on his own. I do cook, clean, laundry, bills and cut the grass and more. I also work seven days per week online also.

Hi..im sure each one of us does it very differently...for me its just keeping things reasonably tidy..and keeping the washing up together...there are so many things we need to do as a woman its unbeleivable!!..You think of all the different roles that we play...wow....we are a wife and a mother,a taxi service,a counselling service,a feeding service!!..a cleaner..a listener....oh the list goes on and on....but i think its true to say that it doesnt mean because you are an extremely efficient housewife that your home will be any happier...lots of peolple i know dont have especially tidy homes...like mine!...and the homes are really happy....for the biggest part i think its just the being there that counts...and if we are going on looks lol...well im not too sure where i would rate then!!.lolol..

Well, I'd say all of the above.LOL! I have been a homemaker for some time now. It just comes naturally. I think if we take care of our house and the family then we are doing our jobs. And I do believe that working at home and taking care of children is a full time job.

I tell everyone that I am a SAHM not a housewife! I really am not too focused on housework. I make sure we have clean clothes and dishes and that we are fed, but I would rather be painting with my son than scrubbing my baseboards!
