I just gotta see my star which shows 7. I think, if I could devote a little more time I would have got a higher star rating. I am sad..
Guys, do you feel that time comes in between you and your quality of work? Had there been more time you would have been a better contributor here.
Thanx all.

You should be able to raise your star just keep posting and post quality discussions. The star rating does not affect your earnings any so don't worry about that. Stars can fluctuate from day to day to you could have a 7 today and log in tommorow and have a 9 you never know.

it doesn't affect your earnings, why bother? people will respond to your quality of post and not because of your star rating.

Candee,
I think you should concentrate on posting responses alone since these ratings do not mean much. Post, enjoy, have fun and grow your network.

awww it's okay ;) someone's got to start somewhere. i remember my first star was a six. but it's easy to raise your star rank n_n it's not about the time you spend here. it's about the number of good quality posts you make. the better the posts the better the ranking you will get from mylot and other mylot users.
just keep on posting ;) don't let quality suffer and you'll get the rank you deserve n_n

Well, I must say you must be a lucky person than most of us here. As a starter you are on the very good right track and your ratings are pretty cool. When I reached 100 then my rating was 3 lol, and I have seen a couple of my friends here who just started theree with 3 and reached upto 10 ratings. And if you are pretty sure about your quality of responses then it might be some mylot glitch that so many people here are just wondering how their ratings are so wenting down always day by day. Myself, I was about 10 a few days ago and right now I just went down to 8 lol...

I assume that your star rating has improved already because you are displayed as 8 at the moment.
There is no cause for concern over your initial star rating because it does not accurately reflect the opinion of members and friends yet. It will take a while for more members to notice the type of posts that you make and for you to be noticed by the members who appreciate your posts.
There is also the factor that with just over 100 posts a single +ve or -ve mark will make a difference.

Don't worry, it will never affect your earnings! Don't be sad, it is just a rating. The important thing is that you are participating in the discussion and giving your time to help others who really needs a friend right now. Cheers!
