ok, as a lot of you probably know, if you move your cursor over your star, it will show you your rating for that particular number and color...65/100, 95/100, etc. when i move mine over my star, it ALWAYS says 78/100...i mean ALWAYS i'm starting to wonder if this is just a made up number...what do you think?

Sometimes it just takes a while to see a change in either direction. It's totally dependent on how you're being rated and IF you're being rated...many peole don't bother with the ratings at all because they feel the system is flawed. Somewhere you mentioned that you've been here for 3 months...yet you post count is still low so that's probably part of it too...you just aren't active enough to get rated often enough to change you star.

LOL...well thanks for that! I've had the same number for quite awhile too...but for me it's not because of inactivity, it's because it takes longer for the number to budge when you have a lot of posts. Ten negatives or 100 positives makes a big difference when you have 200 posts...not so much at over 4000.

I don't take any notice of the star at all and I very rarely 'mouse' it to see what the number is. I can't help you either. In my opinion we are all 'stars' on here and that's that

I started a discussion on this subject yesterday I already know about the number rating that on FAQS. What I would like to know is what does them colors represent,I tried going through the myLot search engine and no such luck I don't think there're just there for nothing the colors of the stars got to stand for something.

They colors just correspond to the numbers, they don't mean anything different. It's just like awards medals...1st place is always gold, 2nd is always silver, and 3rd is always bronze. Here 10's are blue, 9's are red and so on.

it's not important to our reward, it's just how you're rated by other members. you will get a star once you reach 100 posts.
