I'm Becoming a Tagger But NOT a Troll!

I opened a website the other day that came riding into my computer on a trojan horse. As a result, my computer has slowed down to a snails pace and with the slowness of loading mylot pages these days, I have decided to cut my aggravation level down by tagging all my discussions and those I repond to right off the bat. In this way I won't have to wait out the incredibly slow loading time of the 'tag this discussion' page every time I leave some words of wisdom on a thread. For some reason my computer really loves to hold onto the spinning wheel in my tab when I get the 'tag this discussion' page. It takes me an average of 7 to 10 minutes to get a response or comment loaded when I have to go through the tag page. So I am becoming a tagger. I will not abuse this questionable priviledge. I will leave tags that are appropriate and on occasion, even funny. I hope you read them. I'm sure the tagger trolls will try to seduce me to their dark side, but it will not happen. I don't care if they have cookies. I don't like cookies. I don't eat cookies, I don't bake cookies. A good vintage scotch however................I'm all yours! LOL What do you do to speed up your navigation time?

Personally I like a Highland Park in the evening, or gloaming as they say in Scotland. But I am not too fussy when it comes to a malt. I was once the guest of British Nuclear Fuels who have a rather smart country club in the English Lake District. I had a virtual apartment and frankly, what with the standard of the cuisine and the countryside, I might never have left other than my dear wife was great with child. Anyway I am off the point, which is that they had the most impressive array of malt whisky I have ever seen anywhere in the World - and I have seen a fair bit of it. My colleague and I, with the cheerful assistance of the barman, over two nights demolished an obscene amount of the amber nectar. Now what has this got to do with the tagging of discussions? Absolutely nothing. I was just feeling verbose. That's unusual isn't it?

I had to work hard to beat off the competition!! Where is everyone? Probably at work as I suppose that it is late afternoon in your part of the World.

LOL, your entry is certainly heartwarming and funny I laughed my head off. It's more better to be a tagger rather than a troll, ha! That beats the fun anytime, my friend. Now what I can suggest is for you to definitely download the free versions anti-virus. I'm using the AVG free edition and the upgrades are great. They automatically do up for you.

LOL. Glad you enjoyed the post. Check out my "Dear Bill Gates" thread. It's pretty good too! LOL I do, and always have, used AVG. I've added some other programs too, and things seem to be better now. We'll see how long it lasts! Oh - and I've approved your friends request. Thanks for asking.

Firstly uninstall Microsoft Java and install SunJava instead (check other computer thread you started for website that gives instructions) that will kill 99% of trojans infecting your computer from just websurfing. To answer your question however, how I navigate mylot quicker is by opening each discussion I'm going to read or respond to in a new tab. That way I can read or respond, and then go back to the orignal tab with the discussion list and acquire my next target: Mylot Sniping what a fun game... lol

Hello my favorite buff dude! I've missed you heaps. Was even getting a bit worried. I've done the SunJava thing. But I'm having trouble with the tabs. If I go to tools and the tabbing section, what do I 'check' mark to have differnt windows come up so I can work the same way you do with different discussions? SOOOOO good to see you buffdude! So good.
