Are computers smarter than human?

I wonder are computers smarter than human? can human think better than computers? what do you thin?

Computers do not think, they simply respond to the imput of data in a pre configured manner. A computer can perform mathematical tasks at a far greater rate than humans and without errors, but it is totally limited by the programming.

computers are as smart as humans make them want to be i dont think computers are smart at all.

i do not think of computers as a 'thinking' machine because they are only able to work with the information they are given and are very rigid i think but do see this as happening in the next 20 years, they just had a robot expo i heard about on npr and it sounded like a few were really different from last years that i remembered, do you think of robots as being computers?

i think that human is smarter and that is even becouse human invent computer but the sad part is taht human cannot use 100% of his brain while computer uses all brain what human create for him

Computers are surely not smarter than human, as they don't have brains and their own intelligence. However they have bigger possibilities, and higher potential of counting and so on.
