Is the youngest child always spoiled? I'm the youngest and I'll be the first to admit I was spoiled compared to my older brother and sister. From viewing families that I've known the youngest always seems to be spoiled. What are your views on this?

I am the youngest of my family, i have one older sister, and i guess some in my family would consider me a "bad egg" but i was deffinately not spoiled. niether me nor my sister were spoiled in any way for the pure fact that my parents were raising us on her own for a while, and i know that she wanted us to grown up and undertsand the world and not have a twisted way of thinking that i could have whathever i want. becasue now, being 18 years old, i understand why she pushed me to do what i love and what i dont, and why she didnt give me everything i wanted, and why she said no. she did it, becasue thats the life im going to be living as i get older. life is not perfect, nobody is, and i think that parents shoudl focus more on teaching and preparing their children for the future rather than giving them everything they want and confusing their child's thaght on what life will be. if we spend all of our time telling our children that they can do whatever they want and have whatever they want, what will happen when they get older and cant take care of themselves because they relied so much on their parents always saying "yes" and "okay"?

The youngest child as you mentioned can be spoiled if the parents allowed it. Because the youngest is the last child, more attention is given to him so obviously, if he can get what he wants, when he wants, no matter how he does, naturally, the child will be spoiled.
But I can say that not all youngest children are spoiled. Good parents reared their child well that he is not spoiled. I guess we need parents who are firm but loving so children will not get spoiled.

i am a youngest child, but i am not spoiled. it is because, my parents have nothing to give to me but just my necessities. no other materials that only for fun or what. we only living in simple way. my parents work then we eat, if they don work then we have nothing to eat. thats why i never become a spoiled one.
