Music Artists/Genres: Your Favorite

What kind of music do you like to listen to? Or maybe you have a favorite group or artist? It's intersting to me the wide variety of music types that people enjoy.
Personally, I like to listen to hip-hop.rap sometimes, and maybe some pop and rock, and even some country. I have a very intersting range, I think. ^.^ How about you?

I am from south India, where the Carnatic Music rules apart from the semi classical and film music. This is the place from where world famous composers, Illayaraja, A.R. Rahman all have hailed from. There are lots of Carnatic Singers too who are really world famous. Smt. M.S. Subbulakshmi is one such. I love to listen to Carnatic Songs, by any singer (the list is very long), and also melodious songs, be it from any country and of any language.
