When i type the response, i get a curly red underline whenever i make a spelling mistake. i am not sure if its a OS, browser or mylot feature. I am attaching a snapshot of this page for reference.
Example: hgiuc uyica

Yes, I would love to have a spell check! I can't stand it when I have trouble spelling something and have to just guess at it and leave it maybe spelled wrong!

I agree! The smartest person in the world can go blank sometimes on spelling a word and ends up looking stupid!

Like some others, I think that many people wouldn't use a spell checker. I also get a little red line under some words. I have just worked out that it's a Firefox add-in, which is pretty cool!
Think how often you used the Answers spell-checker! I sometimes did but not awfully often. Usually the people who most need to use a spell checker really couldn't care less about spelling, it seems!
Let's learn to groan and live with it!

I know that some people have commented in other discussions that it would be a good idea...personally, I've gotten used to some misspellings on any discussion site or chat that I do online, so I've gotten to the point that I can read around the misspelled words and figure out what they were trying to say(usually)...

Actually yes, thats a great suggestion. Only thing is that it should not make it slow.

I don't know - the other day I was thinking it might be nice, but as fast paced as it gets in here sometimes for me, I think it would slow me down too much. I definitely see some people who can benefit from it. LOL
