if you do nothing on internet other than make responses here? for me,i can make 20 responses at most in the case i don't waste any time.i find it takes more time to respond to discussions than start a new discussion. coz i have to see others post carefully first which takes much time.
what about you? if you centrate yourself on response on mylot for an hour, how many response can you make at most?

It all depends on my mood and the time i get to spend on th computer.. BUt i will mostly respond to discussions rather than starting one because i'm often slower than others in starting the same discussions.. LOL ^_^ But at most i can make 15 responds in an hour..

i can only do 25 responses in a day. i dont do mylot that long. i get bored at times and tired. i usually get on mylot during night time so im already exhausted from work when i check my email and do mylot. I used to start discussion but when i found out i dont get credit on the responses i get i stopped doing it.

you remind me to add tags for each post to increase the possibility being responded by others.
for me i often respond to discussions started my my friends and new users.

I am not sure, I have never really counted them, if I had to guess I would say that in an hour I could do between 15 - 20 at the most. But that depends on if there are a lot that I feel I can respond to, and also if my friends have posted a lot too!!

It depends totally on what the discussion is, but most of the time I make sure I leave as much as I can which is usually around 4 lines or more.
I hate leaving a response that turns out to be only 2 lines, it just does not seem worth it.

yes it depends on the length of the response.

Hi same is the case with me. Yesterday I could post only 15-20 posts per hour. Although I had been doing a lot of other activities on net. I think 20 is the limit and one cant post more then that unless one dont read the other post carefully.

yes 20 is the upper limitation. but indeed sometimes we can understand the content of the discussion even without reading through the whole discussion. what do you think?

Maybe I can do the same in the average. I cannot concentrate much on making new topics. In fact there are lots of opics for me to comment on.

I have never kept track of how many discussions I do in an hour. I am not normally just myLotting when I am on though. I am looking at different sites and I have 2 kids running around me most of the times I am on. I would say though if there were a bunch of discussions that I was interested in responding to then I could do about 20 or so in an hour. Maybe more if my responses came easier.

I really have not tried that how many can I make in an hour if I concentrate on making responses but would like to try it. I just slip to myLot these days taking my time off from work when I have so I'm not here that often. But I will experiment on it and get back with the answer. I agree with you that it takes more time to make responses than make posts.

i can at max post 20 responses an hour that too if i don't waste any time at all.
u said it right we have to read the discussion carefully and then respond that takes time so i usually do 12 if i do at normal speed.

I guess it depends on particular day. Because sometime you find some boring discussions in mylot that you don't reply. I agree that it takes more time to respond to discussion than to create one. If some discussion is long and requires reading then I just rad two or three posts and move on to post the reply.

i can make 10 responses at most...
discussions to respond to are hard for me to choose from the variety in here.
i don't like responding to almost similar discussions because it would feel like i'm repeating myself.
besides i can't go beyond the 2nd set of every discussions (new, recent, new users, ones started by my friends, etc.) while checking on the sujects. if i'm done checking on the 2nd set and still can't choose from any subjects, i would go on to another category. i always start with the discussions my friends started, then new user discussions, then recent, and so on, like an everyday routine.

i think i would make some 20 responses. and 30 is the most. it's really takes time when you have to read all the post in the discussions first.
but let's say i only respond to "discussions with no responses" in that hour, maybe i can make more responses like 45. that would be too tiring. and after responding to those 45 discussions, it would be like you don't want to respond anymore!
another interesting discussion sophialin!

hmmm, I may have to time myself and see what happens.. I wish I'd have more ideas for discussion! That's something I need to work on.

If i want to make good comments or relative comments on topics then i think certainly i wont be able to post many. i can post normally 7-10 responses in an hour not more than that.

As far as i am concerned,it is hard for me to response so many discussions in one hour. Our mother language is not english,so i must have a think before writing. It takes me almost thre hours to response twenty responses.I think you are so quickly. Before writing,i must think what i want to write for some minutes and then i will think how to use better and exact words to express my feeling.
ON the average,it will spend ten minutes for me to finish one writing.fristly,i reading the discussion carefully, secondly,i will have a draft in my mind, last but not the least,i choose the words to express.I love to write a long response to give voice to what i think.
Maybe it will be nagging, but i don't care.I treat every resonse as a small composition and learn to write passage in English more fluently.

I am not really sure but probably not more than 10. Sometimes I enjoy reading discussions and when it's my time to respond, I usually end up not knowing what to say.
That's just me. I would have more time reading discussions here than responding.
But I really enjoy doing MyLot. It helps me with the boredom here at home.
