Would you like to display a little icon on the browser address bar when visitor view or bookmark your web page? It is so easy to create one.

I just came across to this site. It is a FREE favicon generator. Extremely easy to use. You just need to browse/upload a picture from your PC and a click on the "Generate Favicon" button then you will get the favicon.ico file.

There is no need to use sites that have icon generators. You can make any image as your favicon. Just re-size image to 16x16 pixels and make it .ico. Then simply put a tag in the head section of your website and locate the .ico file on the root of your website. That's it.

Surely it would be better to simply scout the internet for free icons or create one yourself.
I have not used a Favicon on a site for a long time, in fact I have even bothered with a website for a few years, but I always took an icon from my icon collection and simply renamed it.
