Do you think Harrison Ford was better in Star Wars or Indiana Jones?

Ive seen Harrison Ford play the role of Han Solo in Star Wars, and ive also seen him play the role of Indiana Jones in the Indiana Jones movies.Which role do you think he was better at?Why do you think he was better at that role?What do you think of Harrison Ford as an actor all together?In my opinion Harrison Ford is a wondeful actor, who has alot of talent, when it comes to the roles he chooses to play,It is a tough choice,however to pick which role he was better at, because he did a amazing job when it came to both,because in Star Wars he played sarcastic pilot,who was running from bounty hunters, most of the time he seemed selfish,but in the end he always came through to help Luke Skywalker,while in Indiana Jones he played a brave treasure hunter,who went through perlious odds to get to what he wanted.But if I had to pick just one id have to say he was better in his role as Han Solo, because he was my favorite character, he was always smarting off,and he flew the Millenium Falcon,and because in Episode IV he shows up in the niche of time to save Luke Skywalker from Darth Vader,when all of the other fighters were shot down,and it looked like there was no hope for Luke or the rebels.Also I havent seen any of the Indiana Jones movies in a while,but I hear that the newest one will be good,is anyone else gonna go see it?And do you think Harrison Ford is to old to still be Indiana Jones?I had heard rumors that they were casting someone else as Indiana Jones,and I was outraged at the mere thought, I say without a shadow of a doubt that Harrison Ford is,and always will be Indiana Jones,and im glad that they left Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones,because I think if they changed the actor who plays Indiana Jones the movie would suck and there would be a lot of angry people asking for a refund,and that would cost Hollywood a ton of money in the long run,so maybe thats why if they were considering someone else for the role,they changed their mines.

I haven't seen any of the Indiana Jones movies in a long time either. It is a hard decision as to which role he played better in, but if I had to pick... I'd say Star Wars as well. When I first saw him as Han Solo, and how he acted, I didn't like it. I have to admit that I just didn't like his attitude, but later.. He just brought a spotlight to the movie that added in a little bit of humor where the dramatic and serious, as well as romantic plot just didn't give.

Especially in the star wars movies as it was just oozing with so much drama and seriousness, Harrison "Han Solo" Ford definitely brought a new light to it, and really made it enjoyable for more then just one age group. The kids liked it, but the parents loved it for the romance, the comedy that on some instances, only the parents would understand... It was such a great movie, and he did such a great job bringing it back from dull to exciting.

Yeah it had a lot of drama and seriousness,and yeah playing as Han Solo,Harrison Ford,did bring it to a new light,and he made it to where kids and parents could enjoy it together,and I agree he did an excellent job of brining it back from dull to exciting.

Hey, my name is JusSonic, I am a newie here at the board. I think Harrison Ford was better in the Star Wars films, because of his roles and interactions with the characters, whenever it's Luke, Leia, Chewie, and Goldenrod (I think you folks know what I mean). Of course, he only gets one girl in the Star Wars films while in Indiana Jones, he gets three girls (the fourth one is the same girl from number one but I digress). Also, I don't think Harrison Ford is too old to be Indy. As long as he can be able to act and kick some butt (and not sing, thank goodness), the old dog still got some tricks up his sleeves! Good work, Harrison!

That is cool that you think Harrison Ford was better in Star Wars,because of his role,and interactions with the characters,and of course in Star Wars he only gets one girl,since Leia is the only female main character that the movies follow,while in the Indiana Jones movies he gets several girls,and that is cool that you do not think that Harrison Ford is too old to be Indy,and I agree as long as he can act,kick butt,and lol I agree about the not singing,and yeah he definitely still has some tricks up his sleeve,thanks for responding,have a great day,good luck in your life,and Happy Posting.

They can never cast someone else as Indiana Jones. Indy is harisson Ford and harrison Ford is Indy. he played that character so well. But they should make Indy 4 like 15 years ago and not just now. But who cares, I will go to see this movie next week.
Answering your discussion, I had to say Indiana Jones. Though I also love his caharacter as hans Solo. But he really act well as Indy. And I love adventure treasure hunt comedy movie.

Yeah noone else could ever replace Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones,and I agree they should have made the movie many years ago,and I am hoping to see the new Indiana Jones movie,and yeah who doesnt love him as Han Solo,and yeah adventure treasure hunt movies with a little bit comedy mixed in are always awesome.

That is true he is the main character in Indiana Jones so you do get to see him a little more than you do in Star Wars,and you are right both of the series are great, even though they were made many many years ago.

Like you I agree that I like Harrison Ford better as Indiana Jones as the character matches his looks and personality more. Also his acting is more better in Indiana Jones than in Stat Wars. I was never really a fan of star wars but I like adventure more and nothing will beat Harrison Ford in portraying Indiana Jones.

I think Harrison Ford does look like the Indiana Jones type,but at the same time he looks like the Han Solo type,and it sucks that you were never into Star Wars, but Indiana Jones is cool too

Definitly better in Star Wars, but that's probably because I don't really like the Indiana Jones films that much. I liked the one when he's a bit older, but the older films wasn't that exciting in my opinion.
I can't see why they would find anyone else to play Indiana Jones though, Harrison Ford seems quite fit still and it a better actor now.
