scams

I get them all the time, i now delete them all without reading. They are all scams not one is legit. About 2 years ago, i got an email that told me i won big money, the only thing i had to do was give my bank details so that the money can be deposited into my account, i was so excited and, off course, thats exactly what i did. But then, i got a call to say the money has been deposited into my account and i need to forward it to some other account via the post office. I was about to do this when i noticed $7,500 deposited into my account but then i called my bank to ask where the money came from. I spent a good hour on the phone until the bank came back to me saying very abruptly that my accounts have been frozen and handed to the Federal police. I had to call the Feds to ask what was going on. They told me that it looked like i was attempting to embezell money. If i had withdrawn the money, i would have got 10 years jail. As it turned out, the money was stolen from another account and i was to deposit it into the theif's account but because i would have done the transaction, i would be the thief. Too easy and so many people get done this way. Dont ever, ever trust these emails. I am still waiting to get my accounts back after almost 2 years.

I get thousands of ths emails every month and fortunately for me I know where the delete button is! I get emails from banks saying I need to upgrade my security settings etc., and I don't even have an account with that bank. Kinda gives it away, huh?

i've won the lottery so many times now, i should be able to buy The World. here's a site i found that lists a bunch of those scams: http://www.quatloos.com but i don't think anyone's minding the store anymore, cuz when i tried to report a scam it wouldn't let me...and their "NEW" articles are dated May '07. but it's still prettty cool if you want to look through a bunch of these scams.
