I cannot multi task. I mean, I can listen to music and read together but mostly I put the soft music on and concentrate more on the reading. I cannot do both with finesse. So, one task bets affected.
Thanks.

Yes, I can do both but I have to compensate one for the other like when I read and there is music playing int he background, the msuic must not be too loud and I would sometimes have to tune it out in order to udnerstand the words that I am reading. I prefer to read in silence though. when I am in teh compiter maybe surfing the internet, or answering my mails and other things with the computer, its alrright for me to hear music at the same time with it especially if what I am doing does not have music. When I am playing computer games then the music should be on otehr wise its ok for me to do the thigns at the same time.
Did you know that no one can really 'multi-task'? People say they do but when you thik about it they are doing things one at a time but they are just inserting other things while maybe the page is loading or maybe you are waiting for the reply of someone you texted, things like that. So I can say I can do things at the same time but not at exactly the same time, maybe around the same time is more appropriate words to describe it.^_^

Hello Candee. It is the same here with me that I find it hard to do multi tasking while doing one thing, but it depends on what I am doing. If I happen to do some household chores, there is no problem for me to listen to music while working, but if I have to read something that needs my attention to it, it is not that easy. Light and slow music is ok for me.

Yea, I can do it. To begin with, I have a relatively noisy household; to add on, alongside my room is a play home where a host of tiny tots are constantly screaming, playing, blabbering, scampering etc. Therefore, I have no choice but to tolerate all the noise and concentrate.
Since I'm already accustomed to reading amid noise, I dare say that I can easily read with music on. However, I do not do it voluntarily, because it worries me at the back of my mind that I'm not paying undivided attention to it and wasting away electricity.
I have always found it better to take one task/hobby/activity at a time and savor as much of it as you can.

Ya I can do that. Reading while listening to music, eating while listening or watching TV. Sleeping while the music is on. Driving while listening to music or singing.
