Honestly, of course I would of wanted it to end with her living and the two of them living happily ever after, but then it wouldn't have been 'A Walk to Remember'. So with that said, I thought this was a great ending to the moving. I've seen the movie a dozen or more times and I bawl each and every time.

I think, there is a reason why the movie ended the way it is... but what actually touched me is the line...
"Love is like the wind. You can not see it but you can always feel it"
Very sweet, don't you think so?

This film, AWTR, is my favorite... I've watched it over and over. But then I was hoping more drama to it. Well, maybe because I'm just used to Asian films which are into drama, especially here in the Philippines. I was expecting more tears. But the movie was okay. Although if I could change it, I would prefer seeing Jamie and Landon after the wedding. I wish it included what happened in the summer. A bit of Jamie's fears of dying, of leaving Landon alone. How bout plans of having children? I wish they added a few drama like those. It could hav made it more beautiful. Also, I wanna see Landon's tears of losing his wife, his hope for a miracle, his unending worries, his weakness. While Jamie is fighting for cancer, her hope to get cured, her hope to hav a baby, her hope to hav more time with Landon.... wow, i think this film's gonna be perfect if it was only my way... haha...
But no matter how i wanted it to end, the way the movie really closed is fine with me... AWTR is still one of the best I've ever seen.

The ending was just fine. In reality, not all love stories have happy endings. At least, there was also transformation of character for the male lead (yeah, i forgot his name).

Yes, I wish. But the impact of the story will never be the beautiful as it is...
well, if I want it to have a different ending, I just leave it to my imagination. (",)

The ending was sad yes but the movie was actually based off of the book written by Nicholas Sparks and I have to say the book is way better and if they changed the ending it wouldn't be as good as it turned out.
