Ok!! I am sure that by now, everyone has heard about the rebate checks that President Bush is sending out on Monday. Since most of us on here have jobs and filed for income taxes this year. I mean what do you all think about this? I mean do you think that its going to cause a problem such as there being people who may not receive one for whatever reason, who think that they deserve one. Do you think that Bush was thinking about the welfare of us as people or is he trying to do one last good deed before he leaves his post?

I know this was posted 6 months ago but I still wanted to answer. I think Bush was kissing our butts and also trying to help the economy. He thought everyone would go out and spend spend spend. I refused to do that, I paid off debt with it. I don't think it caused any problems, I'm sure some thought they deserved it and didn't get it but I don't think it caused anything major. I think everyone over 18 should have gotten one as long as they pay taxes.
