Do you want to see films in a theater or just rent a video?

i prefer to rent a video. i don't like the "ritual" of watching movie in the theater. i prefer to be alone during watching movie.

I'd much rather rent a video than go to the movie theater. I haven't been to a theater since Forrest Gump came out lol. It's so much cheaper to just rent, plus you don't have somebody sitting behind you talking (or giving away the plot because they've seen it before.) Snacks are cheaper at home, by making microwave popcorn at home I probably save at least $4 or so, and when I can get a can of pop for a quarter, why should I have to pay a couple of bucks for one at the theater. Last time I went the person behind me dribbled Pepsi down the back of my shirt, talked the whole time, and kept kicking the back of my seat with their foot. I have never been so annoyed! I used to love to go watch stuff on the 'big screen' but anymore it just isn't worth it, time OR money wise.

Well, I do enjoy watching movies. Some of them I have watched in the theater. There are also those that I have watched on DVD. There are movies that I want to watch but they are not shown in the local theaters. These are the movies that I watch on DVD. I also have watched some films in the theater and still watch them on DVD. These are the movies that I really like watching over and over!

hi wm69love88, actually i prefer watching movie in the theater. (or i always called it a cinema, haha~) I like the big motion screen, the powerful sound effect, and of course the feeling when everyone in the cinema share the same sadness, happiness, and laughter together. But at the meantime, i also love download movies from the internet and enjoy them during weekend in front of my laptop, haha~

Movie theater always, but I do buy DVDs if I love those movies. If it's a movie I want to watch but not so crazy about, I'd also wait for DVD to rent to save some money.
