Which firewall you use?

Not even close! The latest versions of ZoneAlarm Free have been stripped down to little more than ordinary, SPI firewalls. It still has basic application behavior blocking, but no real IPS/IDS. Besides, even the Pro version is still user-dependent. The most powerful firewall you can get for free is Online Armor. While Comodo passes almost all leaktests, Online Armor passes every single one, as well as all the termination tests. It also forces browsers to run with low privileges, and any other application can be configured for this protection as well. Unlike ZoneAlarm, Comodo, and Jetico, Online Armor really does pick up all your regular Web applications upon installation, and allows you to authorize them in one shot. It won't bug you again unless you're making changes, like installing/uninstalling software, or running portable apps. Personally, I lock the kernel to prevent malware from infiltrating my system: http://invincible-windows.blogspot.com/ I have no antivirus or antispyware, and run plain, old Windows Firewall. Drive-by malware cannot run on my machines, because the API is inaccessible.

I just use the Windows default firewall. =P Anyone know how good or vulnerable Windows firewall is?

I'm using ZoneAlarm, it is the best firewall. zonealarm can protect your PC from hackers, I've used a lot of firewalls but ZA proves to be the best. Good thing about this firewall is that ZoneAlarm is free for individual use. It's an easy to use firewall protection program that blocks hackers and other unknown threats. Also, it makes your system completely invisible to anyone on the Internet. I have personally used ZoneAlarm for years with no issues. It gives you the chance to accept inbound communications or turn them away and you can setup a list of programs that need to access the Internet that are listed as "ok". Zonealarm is very to use. It's not complicated to run, but still keeps out dangerous threats.

I use MCAfee firewall. Before i use Windows firewall. I use spybot search and destroy. I have removed most of them by this. I had a time when my computer was attacked by so much virus. Spybot helped me.

i use the Comodo Firewall free program that i found on the internet. it is powerful, and very good too. i only use freebie ones that i can search for on the internet that i find. i can't afford the ones that they sell to ya, LOL.

well not any other firewall other then default by windows xp, its is good to the level , other firewalls slowed down the pc .
