¿What Do you Think About Chavez vs Bush problem?

This is a topic most of the people who live in latin America want to know, or talk about at least 1 time i want to know your opinion, mine is that US president care about problems that are not of US people so i think Chavez is just a Venezuelans problem.

I don't profess to know about world politics or about Chavez and Bush but it seems to me that Chavez is trying to make a name for himself and to steer his country away from the hegemony of America and of course Bush is the leader of America. He can afford to thumb his nose at Bush because his country is a major producer of oil and can always get buyers for his country's oil. It would be different if he were the leader of an impoverished country which needs American aid to survive.
