I could forgive my enemy. Too often people hold on to grudges, anger, frustration, and all around hate. A feeling of oneness with yourself can not be achieved while under any of these states. As long as you have one of those feelings toward an enemy happiness will not truely be reached. A human is just that, human. Mistakes are made, and not always in the better benefit of everyone around them. Making peace with your enemy even if they never make it back, rectifies something inside you. For them they may always stay bitter, or worse yet die from ailments because their hate consumed them. Better to forgive and let live than hold onto a kinship of discord with another I say.

I was talking to my wife about this discussion yesterday and she brought up that he mother and I have had issues, but i explained to her that I do not hate nor believe her mom to be my enemy. Sometimes though we can be blinded by our anger, i would be remiss to say I don't have my share of it on occasions.

O yes, I can and I have. But that's the end of any business relationship with him.
