Ever since I noticed that I can rate discussions, replies as well as responses, I always positively rate posts in discussions that I participate in. Be it my discussions or those of others that I happen to have participated in.

I rate "+" to all the comments which i like, but i dont mark negative "-" to any one because every comment is a truth for the person who wrote it..If i mark it nagative - it may demotivate that person. On other hand it doesnt effect on the money they earn.

This is a good response and I think like you do.
It is about the discussion and not the "score" from a - or a +..the money is the same so it should not matter so I tend to be vote positive too..good luck

Every discussions I go to, be it my own or the one's I respond to, I always give my best to rate those that impressed me and the one's that I believe provided me good informations.
Rate on discussions, responses and comments is important to help each other's ratings and reputations here. Rate only positive "+" and leave those that are irrelevant, report those who violates the guidelines and avoid hitting the negative "-" sign in-case you don't happen to agree with what other members have said.

Rate everything. All the discussions I start, anyone who responds gets a plus rating even if I don't like the response. Any response I may read in the mylot universe that I find worthy also gets a plus.

I am getting better at doing this but I forget. Just like tagging a discussion I don't see the point but I do if I have the time and think about doing this.
There is a lot of things that seem not to matter but I guess they are here for a reason. Have a nice day on mylot

I have started adding tags when they are asked for as well. I was just adding them to my own discussions, figuring others would put them in the discussions that they started. Since reading a discussion on that, I use them the opportunity is offered.

I dont really use the rating system that much yet. I think I tried it once or twice. Since I know it wont affect the earnings of the members or it has a very small impact on each members level (star), I don't mind rating. I dont want to rate negative either because I respect each comments to my discussion whether its good or bad.
