Forgotten, in jail!

Someone mentioned in another post about David being in jail. (Good job! Good place for the little mongrel.) But what I wonder about is Katie's mother... from ages ago, remember, Katie committed suicide but she wrote a note explaining that it was she who donged her father on the head and killed him, not her mother. The police saw that suicide note but as far as I know, The mother (only likeable one in the family, I reckon) never got released from jail. Is there any update on that? (I am at least a year behind, which is why I'm hoping someone can give me better news of a recent sort!). Glad I thought of this. It's been in the back of my mind for ages :-)
