Summer is on it's way! What are you looking forward to?

Friday was an extra day's holiday for us here, so we were looking forward to a day of potato planting and house cleaning. But first thing in the morning we had a call from a friend, who fancied going to the beach for the day. We've got a big big van, so I can see us being popular for this sort of thing as the summer draws on!
Anyway, off we set and had a most excellent day. The big kids played by the water, the little one enjoyed digging and getting sand absolutely everywhere, and us adults enjoyed idling in the sun whilst the dogs kept watch over us all.
It just reminds me that it won't be long now until they dam the river here and we can swim every afternoon. So much better than taking a shower on a hot summer's afternoon!
So what are you looking forward to most this summer?

Without a doubt it will be the fishing that I will be doing. Certain types of fish and fishing are mostly done or are much better during the summer months. I look forward to that from the time it ends till the time it comes back again.

i'm looking forward to getting into the pool with my baby. her aunt bought her the cutest bathing suits that i'm just dying to use. ane her first birthday is this august. we are planning a simple party for family in one of the parks here! it should be great!

Maybe basketball I think.I enjoy mostly playing that especially in summer.I also look forward to the beach but there hasn't it near my city where I live .So I am unlucky compared to you.Furthermore I feel great to swim in this season.
