What are some tricks you use to stay focused? What do you do so you don't get distracted from your work? The best thing for me is to set aside specific parts of the day for particular work. A trick that I learned a long time ago is when a distracting thought pops into your head - write it down and get on with what you are doing. Also, if you write down things that need to be done before you start working you will have less distracting thoughts popping into your head.

There are really those times wherein you somehow lose focus on what you are certainly doing. Some distractions and barriers have been an obstacle in achieving such things in our lives. As a student, I do really need to study my lessons and be prepared for it. But I am still grateful that I was somehow able to manage it despite the distractions that I get and experience when I do some focusing and concentrating. It is such a nice feeling when you were able to overcome it. I usually tend to get rid of the thoughts that are racing in my head by giving a peace of mind to myself. Also, I decide to go to the library of my school and review there. Have a great time.

I wouldn't know if I can call it a trick or just something silly but I always wanted to have the kind of focus that other people seemed to have naturally. I experimented with a few things and one of them was to just focus my mind of the thing that I was doing at the moment. Take for example taking a shower. We can easily go from one thought to another while taking a shower. I decided to focus my mind on what I was doing while showering and I kept my mind on the water, the way it felt on my skin, the soap and the soaping etc.,
