Which Windows games do you play?

I love playing Solitaire and Freecell. I play them while I'm waiting for my computer to do things or just when I'm bored or wanting to chill out. I find these games quite relaxing and addictive. I especially like Freecell as every game has a solution so it's always possible to win - this isn't the case with Solitaire.
I see various other Windows games but as I've never played them before and I like these two so much I never even try them. Which ones do you play and what are they like? Would you recommend them?

Hmm, I think I will try and learn Hearts, as in the past I've thought it looked interesting, and two people have recommended it now! (I know, I've answered you in the wrong order, and the other person who recommended it is below you - I'm having a bit of a backwards day today!!) Anyway two recommendations is good in my book and I will give it a go!

, what is the game ////////////////// ?
Did your finger slip, or was the title deleted by myLot for some reason? I've just come back to look at this discussion, and these strange characters fascinated me, lol!

I really like to play the game Hearts that comes on windows. I learned how to play that game when I was about 10 from my mom my family used to play it all the time so I play it on the computer now. I do also like to play solitare too I have not really tried any of of the other games to much yet.

Thanks for your reply. Maybe I'll have a look at Hearts too, I've always wondered about it but never ventured there! It's reassuring that you played it when you were 10 as that means that it would hopefully be relatively easy for me to learn...

I've never played spider solitaire, but I like the idea of learning another form of solitaire, mabye I'll give it a go. I've got quite good at Freecell too, and once I've won a game I usually want to play again, and tend to keep playing until I lose! I haven't got into online games as I spend enough time on my computer, but I bet there's some great games out there.

I just tried this, how bizarre! How come it lets you do this before you've won - or even played? Maybe to show you what will happen if you win, to encourage you? - No, it wouldn't really work would it?!
Thanks for sharing this with me. No doubt I will now share with other people that I know :o)
