Does "Repel Away from My Garden" really work?

Has anyone here used a product called "Repel Away From My Garden" gel crystals on your lawn or garden to stop dogs and cats from messing around with the area? If you've tried it, how well did it work for you? Also respond if you tried something else that worked better.

I have never heard of that product. my garden is in the front of my house open to all animals that come by and I have never had a problem. I am thinking about putting a second garden in the back with my dogs and i will have to put up a little fence thats the only thing I can think of.
