So it's 6 am where i am, and i am soooo tired. I hate waking up early. I have insomnia, which basically means every night is a hassle, but i love my morning sleeps. But i have to be awake now :(
I wonder if i could have a sick day today and crawl back into bed???? Wishful thinking.
What time do you wake up?

I also have insomnia so I take ambien(10mg) plus I have sleep apnea and I don't use a cpap machine as it didn't help when I tried one.I am retired so i really don't need to get up early unless I have company or some place to be so I usually awake at 89AM and I need acouple of hours till I am total with it.

Depends on the day. I'm prolly always gonna be a bit of an insomniac, so if I get to keep my usual habit then I wake up at five pm.
I change when I know there's something to do the next day.

I've had insomnia for YRS now...Luckily I have medication for it and when i have to take certain other meds I sleep better but even with my sleeping pills I'm up at 3:30 in the am...its a drag since I can't really do anything wihout wakign the rest of the house up but I manage..and at least now i sleep 4 or 5 hours a night (broken up more oftne than not though) which is better than the former 90 mins, 2hours a night which was VERY VERY common before seein a doc..

During the week, I usually wake up around 8am or so. I feel really fortunate that I don't have to get up earlier than that, but I have to admit that I still don't like getting up even then! I am definitely not a morning person, so I prefer to stay up late in the evening and then sleep in the next morning if I can. On the weekends, I usually sleep really late. When I have to wake up for school or work, I usually end up setting my alarm for much earlier than I actually need to get out of bed so that I can lay there and push the snooze button for awhile first! It really takes me a long time to wake up all the way.

It all depends on what I have to do that day. If I have to do work or go to class then I am slow to get up. I still try to get up around the same time which is about 7 in the morning, but I am very tired and I really don't want to get up. I am grumpy and just feel like crap. On days when I don't have to do anyhting I still get up at about 7 but I feel good and ready to start the day. I guess it is just all in my head but it is always like this for me.

hibijou1 Ifeel for you as I am also having insomnia and often find myself getting some sleep finally in the morning and then waking up around ten or eleven it is lucky that I am retired and do not have to get up early to go to work. some nights I just do not get to sleep before three or four in the morning and I just hate that so if you have to work you do have some big problems. My doctor does not believe in sleeping pills so what am I to do? hope you have a better time than I have been having. take care. sleep well tonight.
